Brittney Spikes: HERE IT IS!!!!

WOW! who would have ever thought that i would blog?! i for sure didn't. but here it is the very first blog post! i'll fill you in on the adventures i've been doing lately!

In August i moved to St. George to go to school.
I moved in with 3 girls i had no clue who they were. Thankfully it turned out somewhat decent.

Putting 3 girls who don't know each other together can sometimes not always be so great.. all i can say about it is.......at least i have amber! She keeps me sane. Whenever we go anywhere together people always ask us if we are sisters or at least related!...She's great!

it was really sad to leave behind my roommates from last year though. Cait and Cherilyn were amazing! No one could compare. I miss them a ton. .

Thankfully on my birthday i had a great surprise. Cherilyn and Cait both came down to see me. So my new roommate and my old roommates and my bestie Jenn went to dinner.

This was my very first time at texas roadhouse. So... i didn't know you had to ride the saddle in front of everyone... Oh how embarrassed i was.

It was the best time! What more could a girl want for her birthday? I love my girls!

Moving to St. Geezy was such a great choice. Those of you who know me know that i HATE the snow and cold weather. Thankfully here you hardly ever have to deal with that. Not only did i luck out on the great weather, i also lucked out on meeting great friends.

There is never a dull moment when we all get together for monday night football at iggy's.

With new friends come new experiences. Amber and i decided to play powderpuff football. We just thought it was going to be a breeze. Then we find out we had to go to like a month of practices. Thankfully though our team won.......
Amber and i had the best cheering section though.. they were legit!

Our apartment is 7F in Rebel, so Amy made a shirt and called us her little 7F'ers...inside joke i guess

But with all these fun things i did.. i didn't see the one person i wanted to see ....trevor!

When he did come down we all went the spin park or the "big park"...it was the weirdest place ever

But the best part of the night was this drunk crazy guy in the back round of our picture... we had to wait for trev to come get us, and in the mean time all of these drunk people talked to us .. he got on his hands and knees and said i was the most beautiful girl he's ever seen....haha he was such a character.

There is so much that happened that its hard to remember everything. The next thing i can think about is halloween. Before Halloween i went up north and went to trevor's families little christmas gathering. We couldn't decide what we were going to be. So i was in the costume store trying to find something to be and i couldn't find anything. Then all of a sudden i saw the "Grease" jacket. From that moment on i wanted to be Danny and Sandy from grease. But that was too easy. I looked everywhere for the sandy outfit and couldn't find it.... thankfully walmart had it... i should have known. they have everything! So trev and i were Danny and Sandy.

The night that we went to go to the party trev informed me that the black pants that came with my costume were see through.. Good thing trev takes such good care of me...I had to wear some black pants under neath.
The next weekend Amber and i went to Vegas to a "hollywood" house party. We didn't want to dress up so we just went in normal clothes, but when they got there they gave us name tags of who they thought we were even though we looked nothing like any of them.

All and all it was a good night. Shane threw a good costume party and he had a legit costume. He was "bobby light"...we had no clue who that was at the time.

For halloween i went home and spent it with my family. we all took madison trick or treating and had a little family Halloween party.

Me coming home was a last minute decision so we had to improvise and make a costume. so we made this:

The one thing i love about Amber is our randomness.. one day we decided to go for a walk down this trail that was by our apartment because we needed to get rid of some stress. While we were walking on that sunny day we had a brilliant idea to go for a bike ride. The only downfall to this was that neither of us had a bike. So the next thing we knew we were at the DI looking at bikes. Those of you who know me know that i do not go to the DI, but this was a special occassion. All i can say is good thing we did because we landed these beauties for $20!!!

Now we bike ride all the time. Its amazing.. who would have thought you could find such a steal at the DI...

With all of our other adventures amber and i have taken we decided to take one that was a little more low key. Amber is from vegas and so she hasn't experienced the wonderful things that i am so use to. Parker, Koy, Courtney, Amber, and I went to dinner at parker's grandparents in zion.

With all this playing i got sick. I recently came down with mono and kidney stones. Lets just say for one whole week i layed on the couch and slept. Worst week of my life. Because of this though we had a random trip to salt lake so trev's dad could work on me. He is my new favorite person. I've always been against the chiropractor because i always thought they would break my back or something silly like that. Boy was i wrong. Its the best thing ever! Since we were up there though we decided to go to temple square and look at the lights. So, amber and i bundled up and ventured out into the freezing cold weather of Salt Lake.
